Chattisgarh State District Poverty Reduction Programme , is a World Bank funded 617 crore project , functioning in the 16 districts and 20 blocks of the state , with the prime objective of creating livelihood oppurtunities for the Poorest of the poor , migrating labours, women and other marginalised members of the rural society.Women empowerment, creating entrpreunership among the target are the other objectives of the ambitious five year project.
