1 |
I am new to the site. How should I proceed to get
my organisation registered? |
| |
|
You need to register first as a member of the site by going
to Members. Become a Member. After registration, you can login with your
username and password and you shall be guided to create an organisation
to proceed further. Note: You need to be associated
with an organisation to access your workspace. |

2 |
If I want to join an existing organisation rather
than creating a new one, how should I proceed? |
| |
|
You can list the organisations and contact the Primary Contact
Person of the desired organisation to get an invitation to join that organisation. |
| |
|
|
| |
3 |
Who is a Primary Contact Person? Can this be changed? |
| |
|
The Primary Contact Person is the official administrator of
the organisational workspace on the site, and alone has the right to add/edit
the Organisational profile, a right that other members will not have. (S)he
invites other members from the organisation to the workspace.
The Primary Contact Person can be changed at any time after the organisation
has been registered, by going to Organisation > Organisational Contacts
> Manage Contacts and switching the Member roles. |

4 |
How do I, as a Primary Contact Person, issue invitations
to the workspace? |
| |
|
Organisations can decide to have only one administrator, or
the Primary Contact Person may invite other members by following the instructions
for invitation of members on the site. Note: If you
choose the former option, please ensure the security of the log-in information. |

Why does the ISF require this “complicated”
procedure? |
| |
|
The procedure is actually not complicated at all – the
person who registers the organisation is designated Primary Contact Person,
and requires only one additional step to enable other members to access
the workspace. Note: All members, primary or otherwise,
may register activities on behalf of their organisations for the ISF.
As the web is an open space, this procedure is essential to protect your
organisation’s profile and event registration information from being
accessed and manipulated by non-authorised persons. |

How do I register my organisation’s event online? |
| |
|
All members, primary or otherwise, may register activities
on behalf of their organisations for the ISF. If your organisation is not
already a member of the site you will need to follow the procedure for registration
of organisations, and then follow the links to the activity registration
page. Note: All mandatory fields must be filled in
for your request to be processed. |
| |
|
|
| |
7 |
Do I need to fill out the whole form? |
| |
|
Only the mandatory fields need to be filled In. However, we
would request you to take the time out, either at the time of the registration
or any point thereafter, to supply as much of the additional information
as you can, as this will help the ISF programme committee to publicise your
event properly. |

8 |
Is online registration the only option? |
| |
|
No, you may download the online registration form as PDF document.
You may fill it out offline, and email the completed form to us. If you
choose to complete the form by hand, then please mail it to the WSF Office.
Forms will also be available by post – please contact us at the above
address. |

When will my registration be confirmed? |
| |
|
An application for registration does not automatically confirm
registration. On the receipt of your completed form, the ISF Programme Group
will contact you within one week with its decision, and/or possible request(s)
for additional information. |
